"The interactive community at UCSD affords one the opportunity to perform nearly any experiment, from ultrastructural analysis using electron microscopy to protein complex identification using mass spectrometry. I continue to be impressed by the quality of science that such an environment fosters."
Anjon (Jon) Audhya
Ph.D., 2002
Postdoctoral Fellow
Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research
Dr. Audhya graduated from Brown University before entering the Biomedical Sciences program in 1997. At Brown, he was awarded the Harvey Almy Baker Fellowship. His thesis work in Scott Emr's lab identified new mechanisms of lipid signaling, using genetics and cell biology in yeast. Jon is currently a Helen Hay Whitney Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow in Karen Oegema's lab at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Reseach.
