Lipidomics analysis as part of LIPID MAPS initiative in metabolomics including HPLC/mass spectrometric analysis of lipid molecules, phospholipids and membrane structure and prostaglandin generation in macrophage cell lines, lipid second messengers, signal transduction mechanisms, mechanisms of phospholipase action at lipid-water interfaces, deuterium exchange/mass spectrometric studies of phospholipase interactions with membranes and micelles, phospholipase A2 structure and function, site directed mutagenesis and chemical , siRNA, and anti-sense inhibitors of phospholipases.
