Ph.D., University of Tennessee
Research Interests:

Investigation of skeletal muscle respiration, metabolism, and contractile function during work under conditions of normal and abnormal oxygenation. Fluorescent imaging in single skeletal muscle cells. Regulation of these processes during oxygen limited conditions. Regulation of the coupling of energy demand to energy supply systems in working muscle. Mitochondrial function during contractions. Muscle bioenergetics. Muscle fatigue. Exercise physiology.
