Professor of Medicine
M.D., University of California, Irvine
Research Interests:

Regulation and function of Ras-related proteins. Determination of the activation states of Ras, Rap and Rho in primary human malignancies and in different model systems of carcinogenesis. Role of small GTPases in hematopoietic cel growth and differentiation. Regulation of Rap, Rheb and Rho by cAMP- and cGMP-signaling pathways; effect of camp and cGMP on up-stream regulators and down-stream effectors. Effects of nitric oxide on gene transcription and methylation pathways.
